Known Bugs

UEFI_20.04.0_LTS.FooCrypt.X.Y.Z.Core.Live.Linux.zip

  • 64 bit Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Desktop [ First release of 20.04 still under going testing but available for you to try ]

1 . Launch pad application fails to launch GUFW.

  • A work around has been implemented into the ISO.
  • The application launcher /usr/share/applications/gufw.desktop has been modified to run sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_gufw
  • /usr/bin/gufw has been modified to remove the test statement.
  • To launch the GUFW GUI click the Launchpad application icon or run :  sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_gufw or sudo /bin/gufw
  • /etc/sudoers has been updated so the FooCrypt userid can run : sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_gufw without a PASSWORD

2 . Launch pad application fails to launch FooCrypt.5.0.0.Core.Live.Linux To Disk.

  • A work around has been implemented into the ISO.
  • The application launcher /usr/share/applications/ubiquity.desktop has been modified to run sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_Install_FooCrypt.5.0.0.Core.Live.Linux
  • To launch the Ubiquity Installation GUI, click the Launchpad application icon or run :  sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_Install_FooCrypt.5.0.0.Core.Live.Linux
  • /etc/sudoers has been updated so the FooCrypt userid can run : sudo /home/FooCrypt/run_Install_FooCrypt.5.0.0.Core.Live.Linux without a PASSWORD
